Richards Park
Richards Park provides a beautiful green space for recreation and relaxation along Magill Road.
The reserve is nestled near the intersection of Magill Road and Osmond Terrace, and provides entry points on Magill Road, Osmond Terrace and Vernon Street.
The park is a popular spot for local families whose children regularly enjoy the play equipment, while parents cook a meal on the nearby public BBQ.
It is also used by brides and grooms for official wedding photographs, thanks to the array of lush trees and grassland.
The large trees offer plentiful shade for people to relax under and read a book, and the open area in the middle of the park presents an ideal amphitheatre, sometimes used for outdoor presentations.
Pet owners may walk their dog off leash at Richards Park from early evening to early morning.
